High Tensile Strength & Crack Resistance
Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC) integrates structural steel or synthetic macro/micro fibers directly into the concrete mix during the computerized batching process. This ensures that the fibers are distributed uniformly throughout the concrete, creating multi-directional reinforcement.
Standard steel rebar only protects concrete once a macro-crack has formed. FRC, however, stops micro-cracks from growing, providing resistance to impact damage, thermal expansion, and surface abrasion.
