Pore-Blocking Crystalline Protection
Waterproof concrete is engineered by adding specialized hydrophobic and pore-blocking crystalline admixtures to the batch. These active chemicals react with water and cement hydration products to form insoluble crystals inside the concrete's pores and capillary tracks.
This crystalline matrix seals the concrete from within, preventing the ingress of groundwater, moisture, and chemical salts, and protecting the internal reinforcement steel from rust and corrosion.
